Postcard Stories

I've inherited many postcards from the early 20th century (World War II and before), some of which were sent to relatives long dead. Reading between the spaces in what was not said has captured my imagination.

Until I can finish the stories, here is a sample of some of the postcards. Click on the thumbnail images to the right if you want to see more than I've put on this page.

A young man named Albert received this from his older brother Selmer to let Albert know that Selmer was engaged. It reads, "This will come to you and tell you some news. Your brother, Selmer."
